Despite all the threats and even some brutal treatment, again Near Eastern Scholars are rising to the occasion. This video below is an illustration of the third fragment of the Sumerian texts found during the summer of 2006 in southern Iraq. The complete text is also included. The translation first appeared in an independant newspaper centered in the bohemian section of Barcelona before appearing on several different websites throughout Europe and Africa. Germany’s University of Gottingen also has a copy of translation posted along with some other insight Near Eastern Scholars from the other side of the Atlantic have gleaned from their own investigations.
It had been established the nations would return

Nations of men would return to the womb
To Nibiru, the eternal creator mother goddess

The Annunaki sent forth
from the heavens the Annunaki sent forth for their creation.

An, Enlil, Enki and Nirhursag, creators of the black-headed people.
Founders of Eridu, Bad-tibira, Larsa, Sippar and Shuruppak.

The first cities they founded.

These were the bearers of nations
the mighty men of renown who expelled the Nephilim
and established divine temple ordanances, rituals and rites,

These were the generations, the nations of multitudes
These multitudes of nations poured forth through the heavens

The Annunaki, An Enlil, Enki, and Nirhursag sent forth the divine messengers

awaiting their return, the return of their offspring, the makers of man awaited
In my opinion, this gives evidence that Sitchin has perpetrated a fraud in that he intentionally mistranslated to show that Nibiru is a planet rather than a god.
An open mind can yield new understanding, if distraction is not in the way. Determine for yourself the meaning of the word “God”; it’s translation has different meanings, so it must be used in context.
God’s universe contains all of its children; stars, planets, moons, dust, etc …
In addition, translations are not exact, at best very close.
Whether Sitchen translated exactly to the letter or not is a mute point. He did however get the general concept right according to the “expert” translation. The people who make his translation a conflict are blowing a smokescreen to avoid facing their own denial. It only serves to make themselves look foolish.
Anyone who doubts the veracity of Sitchin’s translations should be aware that in “The 12th Planet” (published in 1977) on p. 269, Uranus was not only ‘known’ to the Sumerians, but they told us what color it was; a color unlike any of the known planets. Our 1977 technology WAS NOT privy to this knowledge. Not until the Voyager II fly-by of Uranus in 1983 did we learn that Uranus was “bright greenish,” just as the Sumerians had written.
A larger matter (if that is possible) is WHY the question “How did the Sumerians know” has not been taken up in academia. Very likely there is too much invested in the status quo to begin the task of rewriting the Bible. Recall that the Creator gave us free will… He cannot therefore pop in and out to reward this one, or punish that one. FREE WILL MAKES US RESPONSIBLE! Was it really the Creator who gave Moses the Ten Commandments, parted the Red Sea, and destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah… or was it the Nefilim? Think about it.

You should really investigate more. He did not mistranslate. The concept of Nibiru got skewed over time.
